Wood fencing is a popular choice for Wentzville, Missouri, properties because it offers exceptional performance, a secure enclosure, and a warm, natural look. A new fence can increase privacy, define an area for children or pets, or add a decorative border around your property. At Chesterfield Fence & Deck, we offer premium wood fencing made in the USA and professional installation backed by decades of experience. Our wood fence installation company can help you choose the right material and customization options to create a beautiful fence that perfectly complements your outdoor living space.
Not every wood species resists Missouri’s heat, humidity, and temperature fluctuations. That’s why material selection is key to designing a fence that will withstand our local climate. Chesterfield Fence & Deck offers two distinct choices for Wentzville homeowners: Prestige Cedar Fencing made from Eastern red cedar and Ozark Timber Copperwood. Both offer the charming look of wood and impressive performance benefits.
For homeowners looking for a fence that combines aesthetic appeal with resilience in Missouri’s climate, Eastern red cedar is a great option. Eastern red cedar is native to the Ozarks, making it suited to regional weather conditions. Our Prestige Cedar Fencing primarily uses heartwood (the inner portion of the tree) and offers greater natural resistance to insects and decay than sapwood.
Cedar also contains natural oils that repel pests and help minimize mold growth. These qualities enhance durability and longevity while letting homeowners enjoy the beautiful grain and rich coloring that make cedar fencing so desirable. We stand behind Prestige Cedar Fencing with a 20-year guarantee.
If you’re interested in a treated wood option, Copperwood offers its own combination of durability and visual appeal. Ozark Timber Copperwood is treated with a non-hazardous blend of oil, copper, and naphthenic acid that protects against fungi, insects, and weathering.
One of Copperwood’s most defining characteristics is its evolving color cycle. It starts with a green-brown hue, then develops a copper color and eventually ages to an elegant silver-gray. Ozark Timber Copperwood also includes a 25-year warranty against damage from weather, fungi, and insects, making it a long-lasting choice for Wentzville properties.
During your consultation, our team can explain each option in more detail and help you choose fencing based on your priorities, functional preferences, and personal taste.
After you’ve chosen the material for your wood fence, Chesterfield Fence & Deck will guide you through the design process from start to finish.
