A well-designed wood fence can completely transform the appearance of your outdoor living area, define property lines, give children and pets a secure space to spend time outside, and increase privacy where you need it most. At Chesterfield Fence & Deck, we have been installing fencing throughout the St. Louis metro and surrounding area since 1968. As a trusted wood fence installation company serving Florissant, Missouri, we offer USA-made fencing materials that combine wood’s warmth and charm with advanced features to deliver lasting performance.
For homeowners who appreciate cedar’s rustic look and natural character, our Prestige Cedar Fencing combines durability with the distinctive appearance of Eastern red cedar native to the Ozarks. Because this species grows naturally in the region, it is adapted to Missouri’s climate and lasts longer than cedar sourced from other areas.
Our Eastern red cedar fence panels are made primarily from heartwood (the tree’s inner portion). Heartwood resists pests and decay better than sapwood or treated wood. It also contains natural oils that help reduce mold, deterioration, and insect infestations while preserving the grain, color variations, knots, and other characteristics that give cedar its stunning aesthetic.
Prestige Cedar Fencing is classified as a lifetime wood and comes with a 20-year guarantee. Its natural durability, design versatility, and gorgeous appearance make it an excellent option for Florissant homeowners who want exceptional performance without sacrificing the classic beauty of real wood.
Our Ozark Timber Copperwood is another durable wood fencing option for Florissant properties. Copperwood receives a specialized treatment using a non-hazardous blend of oil, copper, and naphthenic acid. This process helps protect the fencing against fungi, weathering, and insects. Copperwood also has a unique evolving color cycle. It starts green, then transitions to a rich copper shade and eventually weathers to an attractive silver-gray.
For additional peace of mind, Copperwood includes a 25-year warranty against damage from rot, fungal decay, and pest infestations. It’s a great choice for homeowners who want the warmth of traditional wood fencing with added protection against deterioration.
